Definately not big city people...

Last weekend we ventured to Denver for a Rockies Game. Traffic was worse than it has ever been when we have been there! I don't know how people do that on a daily basis and start and end their day in so much traffic. We decided we live in Spearfish for a reason!
We decided to stay in Westminster so there would be less traffic to deal with. Didn't work that way - we should've just stayed in Denver! The first day we got there, and pretty much ate supper and went to the game. We had a good time watching the Rockies win!
On Saturday, we decided to try and find Bass Pro Shop. Well, 2 hours later we finally found it! We looked around there for a while and then went and ate at Famous Daves. We decided to take the Rockies Ride to the game that night - much less stressful! That night, we were amoungst a bachlorette party and some other guys who were drinking. I think we were more entertained by them than the game. The Rockies ended up losing the game that night in the 10th inning.
It was a pretty stressful weekend and we were so glad to be home again! Roscoe was excited to see us too!
Inservice starts tomorrow and kids start on the 30th. I'm somewhat ready to go back and get a routine/schedule going again. This summer has went way too fast and we didn't get done half the stuff that we wanted to! But, I figure the sooner we start the sooner it'll be summertime again!
