Happy Easter!

We have had a crazy couple of weeks.  After going back and forth with the other couple who was buying our house, they ended up backing out.  They had to have too much down and even if we came down a bit - it still wasn't enough for them.  So in the meantime, we received a back up offer and accepted it as a back up offer.   After a crazy week, we are closing tomorrow on the trailer.  We will be glad when the papers are signed and all that is done with!
We have been continuing to work on our yard getting it ready for sod.  Or I should say - Mike has.  I'm not too into picking up all the rocks.  We are hoping to get sod laid sooner than later but we will see.  We love being able to do what we want with the outside and being able to plan it as we want it to look!
We have been throwing around the idea of trading off my Envoy as gas continues to go up.  My Envoy got 19 miles per gallon at best - and we couldn't justify keeping it.  I LOVED having 4 wheel drive and having a SUV - but also understood that the gas mileage was horrible.  So we went and looked Saturday and ended up buying a 2009 Hybrid Malibu.  It only has 6,000 miles on it.  It had only been on the lot for 3 days and they gave us the deal we wanted on it.
Easter was at our house this year.  Malaya had her tonsils out on Friday so Sommerlyn and crew weren't able to be here.  Mike's brother and sister and he family were here. Then his parents, and grandma, along with my parents were also here. It's hard for his grandma to get out of the house so we were very excited that it was a nice day and she was able to come over!   My Aunt Gloria was also able to be here for the left overs as she was working.  In the afternoon, we spent a lot of time outside and dad and Reese helped Mike work more on the yard!  It was a good time!
It is crazy to think that in a week, we will be celebrating our first anniversary!  It has definately been a fast year with lots of memories :)
I hope everyone has a good week!

Our first Easter as The Morgans :)

Working on the yard - Reese only tipped
the wheelbarrow over twice and had to refill it :)
