Let's rewind a bit...
April 11th Donna Fauske, Patti Kjerstad, Margie Eisenbraun, Elaine Simons and my mom had a shower for me in Wall. It was come and go - and it was so good to see everyone! We had it at the church basement (which has not changed at all!)
April 17th we headed to Sioux Falls as Tara and Jason's son Jadon was being baptized. I am very honored to be chosen as Jadon's godmother. Tara's kids are all so special to me - along with Tara and Jason. Mike went golfing with all the guys and I helped entertain the kids while Tara and her aunt cooked. Sunday morning was the baptism - then we headed back West. We stopped in Wall for a while and had supper with Grandpa Paul. He bought a new suit jacket and is so excited for the wedding!
We have also been busy turkey hunting. Mike finally got one after missing 3 times opening day. I have been working on getting one - but the turkeys haven't been cooperating. The season goes until sometime in May - so I still have time!
Right now, the weather looks like it could be a little gloomy - so pray for some good weather! If not, we will get married in the barn there. All that matters is that we will be married!
